Back



For some reason, this bee looks like it came from outer space...maybe it is the little air sack on its back below the armor-looking back plate. Many thanks to ToryPorter for providing the correct identification of this insect. This is actually a hoverfly rather than a bee and more specifically it is most likely a "Syrphus Ribesii"
