Answer #2:

how can you rate drag me to hell and zombieland over dawn of the dead or hostel?
and the shining definitely should not receive the same rating as the devil's rejects...
pffttt.......
some obvious ones you left out are the ring, the grudge, texas chainsaw, the reaping, children of the corn, pet cemetary, poltergeist, the exorcist, silence of the lambs, hannibal, but i take it you've seen them.....
anyway, rest stop, wrong turn (1 &3,) cabin fever, village of the damned (john carpenter's,) the original wicker man, cannibal ferox, battle royale (not exactly horror, but must see,) tremors, the crazies (original,) audition, the lost boys, the descent, from dusk til dawn......Santa's slay is a great christmas horror
also, blood sucking freaks a.k.a. the incredible torture show is quite perverse.....but interesting
--i can't believe i forgot rosemary's baby
also, Fallen is a great movie, along with Jacob's Ladder
I Sell the Dead isn't really horror, but it's worth watching
(and if you liked Shaun of the Dead you should see Hot Fuzz if you haven't already)

Answer #7:

Sorry if I repeat some of the other answers there, I didn't look through them all but I am pretty sure I did not repeat any of yours:
Dario Argento films, all of them you do not have any on your list start with Tenebre.
Funny Games original, I see you have the remake there, the original is better acted imo
The Untold Story - you might want to skip this one, look it up first please
Ichii the Killer - any Miike film actually, they are more so gory they are funny but they count
Hatchet - comedy horror and a fav of mine
Inside
Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl
Grace
Darkness - this one has it's moments, not the best but had some potential to be good
Creep - by the guy who did Severance, this film is better imo (make sure you get unedited)
Creepshow
Tale of 2 Sisters
Spider Forest - weird film but good
Haute Tension - nice gore here
Frailty - not sure this counts as horror, I guess it scares some people, it's a great film though
Don't Be Afraid of the Dark - tv movie, see it if you get the chance
Don't Look Now - drags a bit but it's a classic
The Thing - an absolute must see for all horror fans
Last House on the Left original - You have to see this, the remake is such crap compared to it, this film is gutwrenching and difficult to watch. While the new film focuses on the parent's revenge this one is more realistic in that it focuses on the girls assault/death and the parents (being good people) have a hard time with their revenge.
It - should see it before the remake comes out
Oldboy - not horror but not for the faint of heart either, if you like it (and you will) check out Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and Lady Vengeance as well
Thirst - vampires done right
Suicide Club
Dark Night of the Scarecrow - damn sack mask, tv movie again but it was good
Terror Firmer - comedy, horror, disgusting, there is so much wrong with this film and yet I love it
The Hamiltons - haven't even seen this yet but so many people recommend it
Retardead - man that's offensive, makes you want to watch it huh?
Dead Snow - NAZI ZOMBIES!!
zombie strippers!
Repo The Genetic Opera - throughly enjoyed this, good music nice gore, solid plot
Antichrist
Seance
Killers (the one from 1996)
Rohtenburg
The Serpent and the Rainbow

Alrighty that's it for now. Hopefully you can look some of those up and they interest you.

Edit - oops you mentioned Argento at the end there, sorry it's late. And DAMN I get a thumbs down just for answering?
