Y.S.F. Said: Fun and educational ( May. 17th 2010 )

My 7y/o daughter loves Noggin games. This was a great edition to our collection. A fun way to review or to learn new facts (even for parents!)

Tami Said: Like the card game ( Jan. 21st 2010 )

This has been a good toy. My seven year old boy loves dinosaurs and knows so much about them. This game has taught him more and allows him to show-off how much he knows - which is far more than us grown-ups know about dinosaurs. I will buy other versions of this game.

Methusala Said: If you're into birds... ( Jan. 9th 2009 )

This comes in a small cardboard box. You have playing cards and a dice.
(singular for dice is?)
There are two levels, easy and hard.
My son is six and an excellent reader so we were able to play this together. This isn't really for learning about birds. If you're a homeschool Mom per se, and you want a fun thing to add to a unit study or science class, this could work. Some of the birds aren't local to our area so that was interesting. My 6 year old answered some questions correctly which was actually very encouraging to him.
The dice is to pick which of the 3 questions you'll ask the person, if they get it right, they keep the card, wrong, and you put the card at the bottom of the pile.
It would take several game plays to get through all the questions.
The cards are a heavy cardboard which is nice.
If given the choice I would buy this again.

P. Andersen Said: loves science ( Jul. 12th 2008 )

I bought this for my daughter who is 6, she loves dinosaurs and science.
This game is a hit!!!! and great for car rides too!!!! the game is not too hard for her. She gets a most of the questions right. She can not wait to get more of these games.

Sky Schoggins Said: Educational Fun ( Jan. 18th 2008 )

I expected this to be a card game. Many of us remember card games from childhood. But I did get a lot more. Everyone in my family is learning something from this game.
We actually bought both the first and second card sets of the game and mixed them together. As there's always a laptop handy, we can look at the world map to find the countries as well. However, that can give a lot of answers away too--so best to use the atlas, etc., after the question.
I bought this game for my 10 year old niece and 9 year old nephew and it can be difficult for them sometimes since they don't learn this in school.
It's been a great game and 3 generations of our family gets together to play.
